Do slat walls really reduce echo?
The felt-backed type does, noticeably, in rooms with marble floors and large glass. Plain wood slats on a solid wall look the part but do far less acoustically.
Can panels be fitted over damaged plaster?
Yes — that is one of their advantages. Panels on battens bridge uneven or patched walls that would need full skimming before wallpaper.
Are 3D panels removable?
Adhesive-fixed panels take plaster with them. If you may want to remove them later, ask us to fit on battens so the wall behind stays intact.
