Reupholster or replace?
Reupholstery is worth it when the frame is good — solid hardwood, no cracked joints. It is not worth it on low-cost particle-board frames that have already sagged. We inspect the frame during collection and tell you honestly which case you are in before any money changes hands.
Across dining chairs, 2 and 3-seater sofas, full majlis runs and king headboards, re-covering a sound frame comes in well below the cost of buying the equivalent piece new — and you keep the frame, the proportions and the fit you already chose. We confirm the figure in writing after inspecting the frame.
Foam grades matter more than fabric
Most “sagging sofa” complaints in Qatar are foam failure, not fabric failure. We rebuild with density-graded foam:
- D24–D28
- Back cushions and low-use seating.
- D32–D36
- Standard seat cushions, family living rooms.
- D40+ / HR foam
- Majlis, hotel lobbies, daily heavy use. Holds shape for years.
Fabric choice follows use: performance weaves and faux leather for homes with children, velvet for formal majlis, outdoor acrylic for terraces.

How much does it cost to reupholster a sofa in Qatar?
It depends on fabric metreage, whether cushions are replaced and how much frame repair is needed. We inspect the frame at collection and confirm the price before any work starts.
Do you collect and deliver?
Yes. Collection and redelivery inside greater Doha are free. We wrap the furniture before moving it and reassemble it in place on return.
How long does reupholstery take?
Usually 1–3 working days for a sofa. Large majlis projects and imported fabrics can take 2–3 weeks; we confirm the date in writing when you approve the quote.
Can you copy the original fabric?
Often yes. Bring or send a photo and we will match colour and texture from our fabric books, or source the closest available import.
Do you repair broken sofa frames and springs?
Yes. Frame re-gluing, joint reinforcement, webbing and spring replacement are done as part of the reupholstery job.
