What you can automate
- Open at sunrise, close at sunset — automatically, by location.
- Close west-facing curtains at 13:00 to cut peak heat gain.
- One-button “Leaving home” and “Movie” scenes across all rooms.
- Voice control in English or Arabic through Alexa, Google Home or Siri.
- Holiday mode that moves curtains randomly so the villa looks occupied.
Curved, bay and 6-metre spans
We bend tracks in the workshop for bay windows and curved majlis walls, and use dual motors on very wide spans so both leaves meet cleanly in the centre. Anything above roughly 5 m single-draw should be split — this is the most common mistake we are called to correct.
Frequently asked questions
Can I motorise curtains I already have?
Usually yes. If the fabric heading suits a wave or gliding track, we replace the track and reuse your curtains. Eyelet curtains on a rod cannot be motorised without re-heading the fabric.
Do smart curtains work with Alexa and Google Home?
Yes. Our tracks bridge to Wi-Fi via a hub or built-in module and appear as standard covers in Alexa, Google Home, Apple Home and Tuya, so voice commands and routines work out of the box.
What happens in a power cut?
Battery motors keep working. Wired motors stop, but every track we fit can be pulled by hand without damaging the motor.
How long does a battery last?
Four to eight months of normal daily use, then a two-hour USB-C recharge. A small solar panel on the glass can keep it topped up permanently.
