This is the least glamorous thing we make and one of the most useful. A cold room with a strip curtain holds its temperature between door openings; a kitchen doorway with one keeps flies out of the prep area; a warehouse loading bay keeps the conditioned air from pouring into the Doha afternoon.
Specification is mostly thickness and overlap: the colder the room and the busier the door, the thicker the strip and the greater the overlap.

| Strip widths | 200mm and 300mm standard |

Frequently asked questions
What overlap do I need?
35% for a normal internal doorway. Go to 50% or more for a chiller, and 66% for a freezer, where every gap costs you compressor runtime.
Do amber strips really keep insects out?
Amber PVC filters the UV wavelengths that attract flying insects, so they are far less drawn to the doorway. It is standard in food prep areas in Qatar.
Can strips be replaced individually?
Yes — that is why we fit hook-on hangers. A trolley-damaged strip is unhooked and swapped without taking down the whole curtain.
